Lagos Campus for Early Years and Primary Students

Nobel Algarve International School Lagos welcomes students from Early Years to Year 5 (three to ten years of age).

Our bi-lingual Early Years centre includes two years of teaching in Portuguese and English for children aged three to five years.

The Nobel International School Algarve Lagos Primary School (Years 1-5) follows the British education system. Students spend their first five years of Primary Education (5 to 10 years) at the Nobel Algarve Lagos campus, and then continue their Secondary education at our Secondary School at Nobel Algarve’s Lagoa campus.

Lagoa Campus for Early Years, International and National Primary and Secondary Sections

Our main campus in Lagoa serves Early Years students, as well as Primary and Secondary students in our International and National sections.

Our Pre-School for students aged 3 to 6 years is bi-lingual (English and Portuguese). Each class has two full time staff, a teacher and a teaching assistant.

In the National Section (ages 3 to 18), students work towards Portuguese National qualifications.

The International Section follows a UK IGSCE/GSCE and A Level curriculum for Early Years to Year 13 students (ages 3 to 18)

Boarding is available for students age 12 to 18 in modern facilities a 10-minute ride away from the main Lagoa campus. Boarding students enjoy healthy meals, round-the-clock pastoral care, planned social activities and a wide range of amenities such as swimming pool, a gym, basketball court, private access to the beach below, piano and common room with Table Football and other games.

Almancil Campus for Early Years and Primary Students

Nobel Algarve’s Almancil campus will, from 2019, offer a world-class, English-medium education to students aged three (Early Years 1) to seven (Grade 2) years old. The campus will be a premium, purpose-built facility designed to meet the highest global standards.

We are currently applying to be a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP).
