Nobel International School Algarve Almancil Campus
We are delighted to announce that Nobel International School Algarve’s second campus in the Algarve, in Almancil, successfully opened in September 2020. Construction on the purpose-built infrastructure began at the start of September 2019 and took exactly one year to complete. The state-of-the-art Almancil campus currently caters for children aged three to 11.
What curriculum does the school teach?
Like our Lagoa campus, the Almancil campus offers a world-class British curriculum. The Cambridge Assessment International Curriculum is taught by highly qualified primary school teachers from the UK or other English-speaking countries such as Canada and South Africa. We want all of our children to experience success and enjoy their learning whilst at school. We aim to achieve this through high standards of learning and teaching within a happy, structured and caring environment.
Where is the school located?
The Almancil School is easily accessible, situated on an extensive plot of land opposite the Go-Karting track in Almancil, close to Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
What facilities does the school offer?
- Pause Pod
- Sensory gardens
- Multi-media Centre
- Multi-purpose hall
- Pre-School dedicated outdoor play space
- Dining Room
- Ample parking
What does the school offer children outside the curriculum?
Our Almancil campus offers diverse sporting and extra-curricular programmes. Mindfulness is an integral part of the curriculum and we offer a Forest School activity with a fully qualified and accredited practitioner, our Head of Adventure, Mr. Matt Harris. A wide range of after-school activities are also available for all children.
Will the school open to older students in the future?
For now the Almancil campus is operating in Phase One, which caters for Pre-School 3 to Year 6, ages 3 to 11. As we have an extensive plot, plans are to expand to Phases 2 and 3, for older students, in the future, according to demand.
