For the second consecutive year Nobel Algarve students from 5º ano to 9º ano took part in the ‘Agua Jovem’ Contest, organised by the Portuguese Environment Agency I.P. – Administration of the Algarve Hydrographic Region (APA – ARH do Algarve), in partnership with regional water management company Águas do Algarve SA and Zoomarine. The main goal of this competition is to raise awareness among young people in the Algarve in terms of knowledge and the preservation of water heritage. Nobel Algarve’s students created their fabulous works of art with a little help from their Science teachers. We are delighted to say that, on October 1, National Water Day, the winners of the Água Jovem 2020 Contest were announced, and Nobel Algarve took 2nd prize, the Hubel Indústria da Água Award worth 60 euros, in the Secondary School category. 9º ano students Jasmine Ferreira and Beatriz Gomes presented their work in the form of a model with the title “Uma WWTP”.
