Thursday 4th February was the second Globeducate Outdoor Learning Day. And neither the rainy weather nor online teaching stopped Nobel Algarve’s students from really getting into the spirit of and enjoying the initiative. Three classes in Primary across both the Lagoa and Almancil campuses participated, with the focus being on Maths in the outdoors. Their inventive contributions included using stones and leaves to create numbers, numerals and arrays, and mapping creepy-crawlies in a chart. The Year 5 – Almancil Forest School group got creative making animals out of leaves and seeds that they found in their garden; in their homes, Year 6A – Lagoa Forest School made excellent dens, while Year 6B went on a wildlife safari, to observe wild animals big and small.
