Lagoa Council didn’t want Nobel Algarve’s preschool children to miss out on the fun they would normally have had at the yearly Christmas Show, organised by the Câmara and usually held in the local auditorium, so it was a case of ‘if the mountain will not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain’.
Seeing as Covid cancelled the usual Christmas Show at Lagoa auditorium, Lagoa Câmara very kindly sent the show to Nobel Algarve, much to the children’s delight.
A party of smartly-dressed elves accompanied by Father and Mother Christmas arrived at school to spread a little Christmas magic among some very excited preschoolers – all appropriately socially-distanced, of course.
It was a lovely sunny afternoon, and the children sang songs with the elves, danced, and received presents from Father Christmas himself.
Lagoa Councillor for Culture and Education Ana Cristina Tiago Martins was also in attendance and wished the children and staff a very merry Christmas on behalf of Lagoa council.
Nobel Algarve would like to say a huge thank you to Lagoa Council for the moments of cheer and joy that they brought to the school.
