Year 3A have been learning about the Vicious Vikings and celebrated their knowledge in their class assembly on April 20th.
The children have learned about Viking ships and the manner in which the Vikings raided others. The Viking women of year 3A were able to share their way of daily life through their song ‘ Who’d be a Viking Woman?’ It turns out, Viking women actually quite like being Viking women as they like being in control of the house and all the money – according to the song anyway!
The children shared their understanding that we can’t forget about the Vikings as they still impact us today through their settlements and place names which are still used in the UK today.
Well done to Year 3 for such a fantastic assembly – everyone enjoyed the songs! It was like a mini musical!
